Invitation The International Family Nursing Association (IFNA) is an organization whose mission is to transform family health globally. We are pleased to announce the 13th International Family Nursing Conference, ‟Improving The Art and Science of Family Nursing: Transforming Health for Families,” to be held Wednesday, June 14 – Saturday, June 17, 2017 (Pre-conference Workshops, June 14th). The conference will be held in Pamplona, Spain on the Universidad de Navarra campus. The conference will provide an opportunity to network and create collaborations among researchers, clinicians, and educators. We also want to extend a welcome to students. With an emphasis on the art and science of nursing, the conference will begin with optional pre-conference workshops on June 14th, and then 2 1/2 days of plenary sessions, expert lectures, concurrent breakout sessions, and poster displays. Through pre-conference workshops, plenary sessions, and paper/poster exchanges, attendees will have ample opportunities to learn about recent advances in the field and share their work and ideas with others who are committed to the advancement of family nursing. With an eye to the future, the conference will emphasize global issues related to family health. We hope to have one Spanish-language session during each of the concurrent sessions. In response to your feedback and requests, we will provide opportunities to network during the conference. For instance, you can network during the welcome reception, the banquet, meals, poster sessions, committee meetings and breaks. You are also welcome to attend a committee meeting; we welcome your participation. Additionally, optional tours for conference attendees will be offered pre- and post-conference. On behalf of the Conference Committee and the IFNA Board, we invite you to join us and other family nurses and interdisciplinary colleagues from around the world for this exciting event.
