Tracie Risling, RN, PhD

Tracie Risling is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Calgary and the President of the Canadian Nursing Informatics Association. Her program of health and nursing informatics research includes study on, social media, artificial intelligence, and the co-designed access and use of digital health resources. Dr. Risling is a passionate advocate for increased nursing engagement in the development, deployment, and use of digital solutions, including social media.

Description
As social media continues to be a prominent factor in how the world communicates, it is becoming increasingly more important for nursing to be represented on these platforms to provide reputable health information and dialogue.
