DescriptionDeveloping and translating knowledge, attitudes and skills for family health promotion practice across the life span is necessary for the 21st century health care and public health delivery systems. Unfortunately, family nursing content and skills is usually either overlooked or undervalued when developing and implementing nursing educational programs or curricula. In this webinar, the presenters will share two U.S based innovative family health promotion simulation scenarios for undergraduate pre-licensure nursing students. Specifically, participants will be introduced to how educators can facilitate the role of the family health nurse, family health assessment and intervention skills to students in a home setting.
